In preparation for the Junior World Quizzing Championships on September 16, 2017, Quizzing North America and TriviaNYC are partnering with the Astoria Bookshop in Queens to host a series of free monthly trivia events for kids aged 10-18. Expect a Vocab Bee for individual competitors, and a Team Trivia portion for group competition.

This month we’ll be focusing on Media and Entertainment, covering anything and everything under the headings of Film, Literature, Theatre, Comics, Newspapers, TV, Radio, Classical and Pop Music, and more.

The Junior World Quizzing Championships is a multi-question quiz open to all New York City area high school students, and is primarily geared toward those age 14 to 18, but may be attempted by younger players. The monthly Trivia Training Camp event at Astoria Bookshop is open to all ages and fun for everyone!
